Grants

The mission of the Foundation is to encourage and support an educated and healthy community.

The foundation offers grants to entities in the local area that share this mission.

General Grants

Eligibility
  • Grants are made in two areas: education and health.
  • Grants are only available to entities serving within the geographic area defined by the Schulenburg and/or Weimar school districts.
  • Grants are made only to non-profit organizations that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) or 170(c).
  • Grants are not made to individuals.


Grant Cycle and Review Process
  • Deadline to apply for September funding is June 15 (educational institutions)
    Deadline to apply for October funding is August 15 (non-profit organizations
General Grant Guidelines

Teacher Instructional Grants

The foundation is committed to directly supporting schools in Schulenburg and Weimar through teacher instructional grants. The intent for these grants include instructional learning experiences that are student-centered and teacher-generated.

Teachers from Schulenburg ISD, St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, St. Michael Catholic School, and Weimar ISD are eligible to apply through the administration of their respective school.
