The Stanzel Family Foundation supports organizations serving Schulenburg and Weimar, funding initiatives that align with the mission to improve education and health. Guided by trust-based, community-led philanthropy, we empower organizations to identify needs and lead collaborative solutions, offering grants for operations, programs, and capital projects to make a lasting impact. 

 

Deadline to Apply

• June 15: for organizations with fiscal years starting in the fall.

• August 15: for organizations with calendar fiscal years starting in January.

Since 2013, the Foundation has been dedicated to directly supporting schools in Schulenburg and Weimar through teacher instructional grants. These grants are designed to fund innovative, student-centered learning experiences that are developed and led by teachers, fostering enriched educational opportunities within the classroom.

Teachers from Schulenburg ISD, St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, St. Michael Catholic School, and Weimar ISD are eligible to apply through the administration of their respective school.​​
