Career Summary: held numerous positions with the City of Austin Audit Office serving as staff member, supervisor, manager and director; appointed by and reported to elected officials; responsible for improving the performance and accountability of government services; continue to explore and learn different therapies in a variety of settings including working with children through Communities In Schools, with survivors of interpersonal violence through SafePlace, with grief and loss at My Healing Place, with individuals who have been impacted by trauma, and currently working in a small school district providing a range of counseling services from behavioral issues to college and career readiness
